Modeling Two First Hydrostatic Core Candidates Barnard 1b-N and 1b-S

چکیده
Abstract A first hydrostatic core (FHC) is proposed to form after the initial collapse of a prestellar core, as seed Class 0 protostar. FHCs are difficult observe because they small, compact, embedded, and short lived. In this work, we explored physical properties two well-known FHC candidates, B1-bN B1-bS, by comparing interferometric data from Submillimeter Array (SMA) 1.1 1.3 mm Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter (ALMA) 870 μ m observations with simulated synthesis images sources. The based on simple model containing single, hot compact first-core-like component at center surrounded large-scale, cold dusty envelope described broken power-law density distribution an index, α . Our results show that components B1-bS can be temperatures ∼500 K size ∼4 au, which in agreement theoretical predictions FHC. If inside radii fixed −1.5, find ∼−2.9 ∼−3.3 outside for respectively, consistent calculations collapsing, bounded previous observations. Comparing temperature profiles sources radiation-hydrodynamic simulations FHC, both lie close to, but before, second stage. We suggest may have started collapsing process earlier compared B1-bN, since larger discontinuity point found its profile.

In the theory of star formation, the first hydrostatic core (FHSC) phase is a critical step in which a condensed object emerges from a prestellar core. This step lasts about one thousand years, a very short time compared with the lifetime of prestellar cores, and therefore is hard to detect unambiguously. We present IRAM Plateau de Bure observations of the Barnard 1b dense molecular core, combi...

We report far-infrared Herschel observations obtained between 70 μm and 500 μm of two star-forming dusty condensations, [HKM99] B1-bS and [HKM99] B1-bN, in the B1 region of the Perseus star-forming cloud. In the western part of the Perseus cloud, B1-bS is the only source detected in all six PACS and SPIRE photometric bands, but it is not visible in the Spitzer map at 24 μm. B1-bN is clearly det...

Giant axonal neuropathy (GAN), an autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in GAN, is characterized cytopathologically by cytoskeletal abnormality. Based on its sequence, gigaxonin contains an NH2-terminal BTB domain followed by six kelch repeats, which are believed to be important for protein-protein interactions (Adams, J., R. Kelso, and L. Cooley. 2000. Trends Cell Biol. 10:17-24.). ...

Glucuronidation is an important detoxification pathway for organic pollutants in fish. We report here the isolation and characterisation of UDP-glucuronosyltransferases (UGT) genes from the closely related marine flatfish, plaice (Pleuronectes platessa) and flounder (Platichthys flesus). The deduced amino acid sequences share greater similarity with mammalian UGT1 family genes than UGT2 genes (...

Myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG) is expressed in periaxonal membranes of myelinating glia where it is believed to function in glia-axon interactions by binding to a component of the axolemma. Experiments involving Western blot overlay and coimmunoprecipitation demonstrated that MAG binds to a phosphorylated neuronal isoform of microtubule-associated protein 1B (MAP1B) expressed in dorsal ro...
